Be a Mermaid with Anna Sui Glittering Pedicure Kit!

Hello lovelies! How did your weekend pass? Isn’t it a dread that Monday always comes so fast?

To cheer myself up, I had some fun with the new Anna Sui Beach Collection for Summer – the Glittering Pedicure Kit!

It is a Limited Edition, that comes in a cute tin case.

I love the mermaid prints on the tin! Totally adorable!

Anna Sui Beach Collection - Glittering Pedicure Kit

In the kit, it comes with:

2 nail polishes, a 50ml leg mist, and toe separators.

The other pedicure kit has blue/green nail polishes.

Now, leg mist? Do I need a mist for my leg?

It is actually a mist with cool menthol to relieve the tired legs. It has a very refreshing and sweet rose scent. I really can’t say whether it helps to relieve tired legs or not because my legs have not felt tired in quite a while but I do love to spray it just for the scent to linger around me 😉

Summer Love Jewel Tone

The toe separators come in handy for me, as my old separator is missing one. And now I have 3 in total!

This shade is Summer Love Jewel Tone, the color is really pigmented and very easy to apply. And I only applied a layer. The color payout is certainly on par with any OPI polishes.

It looks pinkish from the bottle but it is reddish when I apply.

Jewel Aurora Red

Then, I topped up with a little of Jewel Aurora Red. The glitters are quite disappointing though. It is not so condensed and therefore you can see that the glitters are actually quite loose. I always prefer the congested-kind of glitters 😉

There are a few ways to use the color combination. You can even alternate the colors on your toes if you wish!

For anyone who just wants a quick job, you can stop at this step after applying top coat to protect the colors.

But after reading Nikki’s cherry blossoms art, I am itching to draw something too!

My simplified version of cherry blossoms 😛

Overall, I find this kit to be quite interesting, love the color payout, and the cute tin which I can recycle to keep other stuff.

Sadly, the only fall back is the price tag –  RM165!

Honestly, I don’t think I am ready to pay for the price for colors which I could find similar shades. But if you are an Anna Sui fan, it will be a different story 😉

That’s a very cute set, love the color, the pigmentation and the packaging is so cute! Too bad about the price though.

Aaww thanks sister for being inspired by me 🙂 You are sooo sweet. I like your toes, so cute, but I agree with the glitters! I like those really condensed ones too 🙂
