Browsing in Nails

It’s monday again ladies! Wish weekends were longer? I spent my sunday hunting for some new nail stuff. And look at what i have got! So, let’s put them together and see what I can do with it.

nail stuff

White nail polish, pink nail polish, one nail glue, 6 bottles of stones for RM10, one tiny brush for drawing, and the transparent casing!

french tip

1. Apply a base coat, then a pink layer, then finally a french tip. My french tip looks crooked! Maybe I should get the stickers for french tip for a perfect one. Leave it thoroughly dry before moving to next step. I always use a hair dryer to blow it dry.

putting glue

Use a toothpick to pick some glue, some shops sell the sticks for sticking the gems and stones, but bah! It is so expensive! And toothpick is cheaper, with tinier tip, hence easier for work.

I wanted to have halloween nails, BUT i just realized that I have only few colors! I don’t even have bright colors like yellow, so, there goes my halloween feel nails.

I have made use of what I do, and here it is!

First layer, base coat, then a layer of purple color.

Draw a french tip with black. I find it hard to draw a perfect french tip, the brush just refused to listen to me.

Then you can dab some pink dots across the nails.

Tool:
1. Sally Hansen Top & Base Coat
2. Elianto pink nail color
3. Elianto black nail color
4. Elianto transparent with silver dust
5. Dotting tool ( I forgot to include this in this picture!!! How could I??? )

first step

Step 1: Paint a layer of base coat, blow dry, then paint a layer of pink, blow dry, then finally dot some black dots as border. It’s actually some random dots, if you look close enough, the line is crooked here and there.

Sally hansen double duty strengthening top and base coat

After some inspirations from Nikki, I think i love painting my nails now. And therefore, I thought I needed a better base and top coat. And the only one quite affordable, and with a brand, is this Sally Hansen Double Duty Strengthening Base & Top Coat.

This is supposed to act as a double duty, both top and base coat.

After reading so many nail art posts by Nikki, i feel really inspired and really had the itch to try it out myself. Not having any tools, i decided that i would use only a comb to draw on my nails.
