Do you love oils?

Facial oils

As you have might noticed, beauty oils are gaining more and more popularity in the market shelves in these days.

And without realizing it myself, I have been a facial oil user for more than 2 years already!

From left > right, let me show you my humble collection:

1. Airellis Desensitizing Face Essential Oil
2. Airellis Clarifying Face Essential Oil
3. Darphin Myrrh Aromatic Care
4. Kielh’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate
5. Melvita Rose Hip Oil
6. REN Rose Serum

I started Airellis facial oil when I had combination skin with breakouts, and surprise surprise it didn’t break me out more, and I actually fell in love with facial oils. It is also the oils that I have repurchased a couple of times.Β  And one of the stuff that has really rescued my dry skin was the REN Rose Serum. I have been using the Melvita Rose Hip Oil for a while now, and review is to be posted soon πŸ˜‰

Have you tried any beauty oils for skin, and do share with us if you have a must-have-favorite πŸ˜€

I think the Melvita Rosehip oil was breaking me out πŸ™ I read that it can clog pores. BOO πŸ™ I love the Kiehl’s MRC and I actually want to try the REN rose oil although I was told its more suitable for dry skin. I just love the smell πŸ˜›

I definitely love the Kiehl’s MRC. The only other oil I’ve tried is probably bio oil… does that count? Lol! And I gave that away.

Yes yes yes I love oils! πŸ™‚ I began my “collection” with Eve Taylor’s Face Oil (From my Dermalogica facials)- I had them in No. 1, No. 3 and No. 4. Forgot which is which but they were for oily/problem skin, sensitive skin and dehydrated skin, though not all at the same time though haha! Then I tried Jurlique Skin Balancing Face Oil, but results were kind of meh πŸ™ Then it was Kiehl’s Midnight Recovery Concentrate. Used 3 bottles… the 3rd bottle is halfway gone though haha πŸ˜› While waiting for Melvita to open I got Kiehl’s Superbly Restorative Argan Dry Oil because I kind of got bored with the MRC, and it was actually quite good though it feels horribly greasy and I tend to over-apply πŸ˜› Then I got Melvita Argan Oil, but that broke me out bad and I am still recovering from the breakouts >_< I went back to Melvita, and am using their Calendula Oil now πŸ˜›

I love facial oils and tried a few…some standalone, some mix. My current fave is Marie Veronique Organic’s Anti-Aging Oil Plus. Great stuff there! Tried Kiehl’s but it was a bit meh for me. The REN one looks interesting!

I used to be afraid of facial oils and stuck with my usual cream moisturizers. But after trying out emu oil then falling in love with MVO’s AA Oil+, I’ve become a proud facial oil convert πŸ™‚

I love oils, especially I feel that it is soothing on skin. Emu oil is the one I use. It is non-greasy like other oil, it gives a relaxing mind and comfortable to use. It is not irritated on skin.
