Monday has always been a universal dreadful day, but I am going to show you something very pretty today:
Anna Sui Autumn II Polishes.

From left to right > 802, 904,203,305.
Before actually using the colors, I was already impressed with the packaging, and the colors peaking out from the bottle.
All the colors have a strong scent of rose.
Now, let’s see the colors.
Indoor without flash. Double coats on all 4 nails.
The gold (802) is a rather sheer and shimmery. One coat you see nothing, but with 2 coats, it is more opaque. It will well with darker polishes, or even with white, or when you just need a layer of glitters.
The green (904) looks metallic from the bottle, but it’s actually just slightly metallic. You will definitely need 2 coats with this otherwise you will see the blank white spots on your nails.
The purple (203), again, is quite sheer when it is a single coating. I think this is my favorite of the lot, however is also the trickiest to apply. It tends to look messy if it’s not covered evenly.
The pink (305), a very sheer pink, almost still looking nude with 2 coats. It does appear cute because of the jelly nature.

Overall Thoughts:
I absolutely love the new packaging of the polishes and they will make excellent stocking stuffer with the pretty look.
It’s not the best formula out there, but for that price, I do have some expectations.
Apart from the pretty bottle, there is something that irks me a lot, which is the rosy scent of the polishes. When I started to apply, I began to sneeze to no end. Even when the polishes have dried up, the scent did not go off. And I don’t remember having such strong scents the last time I tried the polishes. In the end I had to remove the colors due to my sensitive nose. I will be giving them a try again on the days when my nose is perfectly dry

packaging itself is super pretty! I can’t imagine the rosy scent though! Why can’t they just leave it just like regular polish scent?
