Spring/Summer is always the exciting time for new collection and movies! And did you notice all the new whitening products on shelves now?
Introducing – the Laneige White Renew Plus whitening care range.
We had a little fun test on how effective the White Renew Plus products are by using apples as we all know apples oxidize super fast! In just a minute, they start to brown.
In the experiment, we applied:
From left to right: Laneige White Renew Plus Essence, Laneige White Renew Plus Emulsion, Laneige White Renew Plus Daily Protection Cream SPF36PA++ and Laneige White Renew Plus Eye Protector SPF12PA+.
We applied a thin layer of the said products on the apple and wipe them off after about 2-3mins.
And look!
On the left, we have the original apples without skin care, and on the right are the beautified apples.
And the first piece on the right is the one with the essence! Now, tell me you are not impressed? We were all in awe!

All the colors are very young and fresh, and very pastel.
Fresh Modernist Shadow in 4 shades, comes with a full-size mirror and a application brush.
The colors are really fresh like its name, and the texture is silky soft!
The black is supposed to work as an eyeliner but I find that the color is too sheer to be lined on eye though.
The green is a color that brightens your eyes effortlessly on its own.
Fresh Modernist Blusher.
Note the purple in the palette is meant for mixing it with the peach/orange to create a soft pink.
And the white? Use it as a highlighter! Koreans are really big on highlighting.
On the 3rd swatch, I mixed 2 layers of purple on top of the peach/orange.
Never ever wear purple on its own!
It’s quite a cool concept as you can experiment the layering on your skin. The downside is, it might not work the best when you are in a hurry in the morning or when you have insufficient light to check if the blushers on your cheeks are properly mixed.
One shade of gloss and 2 shades of lipstick.

I feel bad I did not purchase any Laneige product when i went to Korea, I just thought about it when you asked me about this Mask 🙂
dont have to feel bad at all as there are so many other brands in the market 😀 it is not possible to buy them all anyway
