My Weekend Haul: Konad Nail Stamping Art Tools

by prettybeautiful on November 17, 2008

Yo ladies! Hope all of you had a great weekend. I have a …wonderful weekend searching high and low for konad stamping tools set. It is so so so hard to find!

Behold…

konad1

For basic konad art stamping, you need a basic set of:

1. Image plate M56 ( there is a code for each image plate) RM12.90 for a plate of 7 designs
2.  Forgot plate number what
3 & 4. A scrapping tool and stamp tool at RM16.90 for both
5, 6, 7, 8. Special nail polish (it is thicker and sticky) at RM10 each for 5ml each

konad2

1st step:
Pick a design on the plate you wish, then color it with the SPECIAL nail polish. You can’t use the normal polish for this as the special nail polish is thick and sticky. As you can see, I bought the plate for french tip. Heheh

2nd step:
Scrap off the excessive color with the scrapping tool.

konad4

You can see there are still colors left in the design.

konad5

3rd step:
Use the stamp tool, and press it hard against the plate (the design that you have colored).

konad6

4th step:
Transfer the stamp onto your nails. You must be very fast in doing this as the color will dry up REALLY fast. Mine already dried up the first time as I was taking the pics. I had to restamp the get the color.

konad7

5th step:
This is how it will look like when it is transferred! Unfortunately, there are still some colors left on the stamp hence the incomplete tip.

My another attempt. :( I will be better off with more practices! Stay tuned! :D

P/S: Konad nail art stamping tools can be bought in In-Q-Box, one-utama. As for other places, i will update soon! :D
