Inspired by AskMeWhats, I quickly did my version of my bow-wow-west ail art right after seeing the design π
A little different this time because I set a target time for myself from base coat to top coat. I managed to complete this nail art in about 30mins π quite an improvement considering that I used to take hours, but of course it depends on the designs as well.
This is a pretty simple nail art requiring only a few colors: a color of your choice for the base coat, black or white polish or acrylic paint, dotting tool and thin art brush, and of course π
Seche Vite has been awesome so far, definitely has shortened the drawing time.
I am using Zoya Mod Matte in Lolly and also Suzi Loves Cowboys from OPI.
It’s actually quite a nice shade of brown to give a color pop among the matte nails.
Using the dotting tool, create dots that resemble paw prints.
You don’t have to be perfect and they will still form and turn out well π
On the middle finger, it’s the dog bone – typicallyΒ a straight line then 2 dots at each end.
Last but not least, the dog face! For the dog face, I started drawing a pear shape with white acrylic color, then adding the ears and face details.
When the entire nail art is done, I protected the matte color using the Essence matte top coat, then apply normal top coat again over the details such as the paw prints, and the dog to give it a shine.
Don’t you love dogs? π
