Review: Tokyo Milk Perfume – I Want Candy

by xin on November 11, 2010

Ever since I have gotten my hands on some samples of Tokyo Milk perfumes, my nose is hooked to I want Candy!

I Want Candy Tokyo Milk Perfume

With the help of Beetrice, I bought a bottle of I want Candy perfume by Tokyo Milk from Soap ‘n Sorbet because it is free shipping in Singapore with purchase of S$60 and above!

From all the perfumes I have, I must say this is the MOST minimalist of the lot! Unlike the Gucci Guilty EDT, this perfume almost has no packaging at all! Not even a box. Not that I mind though 🙂 I actually love the resource-saving concept too.

I Want Candy has really sweet fruity and floral scents, as mentioned on the bottle, it is a mix of apples, peaches, violets and roses.

For those who fancy a sensual and romantic scent, this might not be it though. It is girlish and sweetness-OD.

I Want Candy Tokyo Milk Perfume Back

On the back of the bottle, you can clearly see the level of your perfume left. And a cute candy printed on the label.

With its really simple bottle, I actually lug this in my handbag now 🙂 If  I am clouded by all the smokey-smells, this can save my day!

Bummer is that, the scent is not exactly long-lasting. Reapplication is definitely needed every 3-4 hours if you want the scent to linger on you all day long.

Available on Soap ‘n Sorbet for S$52.And now they are having promotion for FREE lipbalm worth S$22 with purchase of ANY Tokyo Milk liquid perfume! Too bad there was no promo when I bought this.

Look on the bright side! Need to re-spray often means it finish faster and you can re-purchase or buy new perfume! 🙂

Better to use it up than to have it evaporate by itself, I always say! 😉

I’m not into sweet floral and fruity scents but I like the simple bottle. Too bad the scent doesn’t last long though.
