After some inspirations from Nikki, I think i love painting my nails now. And therefore, I thought I needed a better base and top coat. And the only one quite affordable, and with a brand, is this Sally Hansen Double Duty Strengthening Base & Top Coat.
This is supposed to act as a double duty, both top and base coat.
One thing I find about this product is, it takes quite some time to dry up without using my hair dryer to dry it. It just seemed to take forever! So, now I have to wait 3 or 4 mins for it to dry before i can paint my color. One good benefit also is that my nails didn’t turn too dry nor yellow when I wash off the nail color.
As for the strengthening purpose, I don’t really know about that since my nails are quite strong by themselves, I seldom have problem of chipping nails.
Since its double duty, I think it is quite worth it at RM29.90. Available in most pharmacies or beauty outlets.

hi sis! 🙂 aawww thanks for being inspired!!! I love this !I have this and I’ve been using this for…a loooonggg time! I’m only halfway and I use this everytime I do my nails, both as base and top coat! Glad you bought one too!
You go, gal! I can’t paint my own nails, I have no patience to put on coat after coat and waiting for each of them to dry. 🙁
3-4 minutes is quite fast girl !
my silkygirl’s top & base coat took me longer. maybe it’s because i paint on a thick layer. I don’t know lol.
