Sexy Tiger Stripes Nail Art featuring Tigger

Happy mid-week! 😀

As I was arranging all my nail polishes in my Helmer, I discovered that I have quite a couple of orange polishes in different shades from different brands.

Among the lot, Lucent Orange Pearl from Elianto is my favorite of all!

And my head started thinking the designs I could do with it.  And I am proud to share my tiger stripes today!

Polishes and tools that you need:

Base & top coat, orange polish, red/pink polish, yellow and black ( I am using acrylic colors here), and a nail art brush.

Let the base coat dry and color a layer of orange polish as evenly as possible.

What I like about this Elianto is – The color is extremely easy to work with, it has some pearl effect thus making the color look livelier, and it is cheap!

Let it dry thoroughly before the next step, you can cool it in front of the fan in low-speed, I always do.

Now, squeeze out some black (acrylic or polish) on a unwanted CD, pick up the color with your brush.

It is easier to make the color more even and thin compared to using it fresh from the bottle/tube.

Start from the side of the nail and create a small flick at the tail, just like eyeliner.

Repeat it for another 7 nails and keep the mid nails blank because they are reserved for Tigger from Winnie the Pooh.

For the mid nail, dip some yellow polish and draw a circle.

Then, create brows and 2 dots as the eyes. Gentle dot some pink/red polish as the nose. And of course, not forgetting the whiskers!

Let dry completely and end with top coat and we are done!

If there is any mess around the nails, you can dip the Q-tip with little nail polish remover to clean it up.
