Hello goood Tuesday! (yawn)
I am still missing shopping in Korea
have not shopped enough…!
After the photoshoot in the day, we did not check in to hotel immediately. To save time, we adjourned to shopping in DongDaeMun and dinner.
OMG HELLO MALLS!
I was excited!!! From what I heard, there are about 7-8 huge shopping malls in this area. It is one of the main hearts of Seoul too.
It was only about 6pm and it was turning dark already.
Etude House, Skinfood, The Face Shop can almost be seen every 200m in the busy area.
They have a larger selection there..and..a makeup area!!!
Awww it is so pretty!
Price of the Korean brand products is about 30% -40% cheaper than what we can get it Malaysia.
There is a night shopping street near the area too.
Stalls like these are very common in Korea, they basically sell the fishcake, spicy rice cake, sausages and fishballs.
Ahhhh!!! Check out the MEAT balls and pork sausage! They were fantastic! Both priced at 3000KW each…both of them cost about RM20!!!
And..guess what? The competition among the skincare brands is so intensive that all the shops were giving out something as you passed by (of course provided that you visit the store) , I got a free pearl mask! Then I bought
There is also a fun-fair area right in front of the mall.
This round thing will spin and bounce! Most of the people who played were school girls. It was funny to see them screaming and bouncing.
The shopping mall right in front of the playground is a weird mall. It has all the dodgy fakes! And I wonder how they sustain their business, if you are ever there, I advise you NOT TO buy anything there at all!
However, this is the only Skin79 counter I saw in my entire trip.
After an hour tour in Dongdaemun, we headed to BBQ korean buffet dinner. Unlimited pork and side dishes
Hello real korean BBQ!
When we reached the hotel, it was already about 10.30pm, we were dead tired..but what greeted us was..
A huge bed!
Huge bathroom! I love toilet bowls with warmer.
And..OMG JACUZZI!
No price for guessing who enjoyed it the most.
Next post I will show some of the beautiful scenery photos in Nami Island.

Hi Pretty Beautiful!
Thank you for sharing these Korea pics! Oh I’ve always wanted to visit Korea before this, but it seems like things are expensive there eh? (well except for those local cosmetic/skincare shops) So more advisable going there as sightseeing trip?, rather than shopping?
Joey: I wish i had a bathroom like that at home!!!
Merra: things are generally more expensive than in malaysia, especially the food. but the skincare/cosmetics are cheaper. i would suggest go for both sight seeing and some shopping if you have extra budget. you can always return there for shopping next time
i did a lot of sight seeing and just some shopping.
Huge meatballs and sausage. Looks more yummy than food in Singapore!
The food looks yummy and the hotel nice. The bathroom’s huge! Thanks for sharing the pix.
